An inclusive brand language, for everyone.The illustrative style is designed to match the angular and characterful style of the RLWC2021 logotype. The use of postive and negative shapes within the illustration allows the viewer to discover hidden figures the more they look. Showcasing the very best Rugby League athletes from around the world. A place where everyone unites in the celebration of this spectacular game.



Addressing a digital audience.Aiming to be the most digitally connected sports event in the sporting calendar, the visual language therefore had to be flexible and adaptable across a multitude of digital platforms, including broadcast, social media platforms and it's own tailored app.







Bringing the bright and bold brand to life.The entire Rugby League experience are about the moments. Win or lose through the heartfelt, heated and intense - because no matter the score, everyone is part of the game. Powerful and emotive moments are are at the heart of the experiences, from down on the pitch and up in the stands, to the town and cities that are the hosts of the RLWC. The visual language created reflects the dynamism found in these moments, to stretch into all aspects of the experience..
